How to Protect WordPress Against Spam with Google reCaptcha v3

WordPress

Google reCaptcha as the best spam protection plugin for WordPress CONTENT Management System. Thanks to this plugin, we will prevent spamming on your site. The plugin will automatically add to us the verification that we are not a robot in a section such as login, registration, password reset form and possibly in the comments. Spamming is one of the biggest problems with the WordPress content management system. Let's protect your website simply with a plugin that is available for free with a simple installation.

Setting up reCaptcha for WordPress

The plugin can be found after logging into the administration of the WordPress content management system in the category »Plugins« and »Plugin installation« under the name reCaptcha by BestWebSoft. We download and apply the plugin. Then, in the plugin settings (a category is created in the administration under the name reCaptcha), select the version of reCaptcha to version 3, generate a web and secret key by clicking on the item »Get the API Keys«, which we then copy to the appropriate fields. Then we click on the Try reCaptcha button and then on »Verification test« (it will appear after trying the reCaptcha button). The plugin should work at this time.

We can set up the Google reCaptcha spam protection plugin for specific parts such as login, registration, comments and so on. For proper operation, we should see an icon for reCaptcha in the lower right part, which is shown in the image above.
