All-in-one WP migration is my favorite way to migrate a WordPress site, but there are many other options. Sometimes you need to know how to move a WordPress site in some way. Migrating your WordPress site doesn’t have to be a daunting task if you follow some of the best practices below. Not only do these tips apply to the All-in-one WP migration plugin, but they are also essential to keeping your site functional and ready for the unexpected.
Back up before making changes
Before making any changes to your existing site, make sure you have a copy of all your WordPress files on your local computer or on any cloud drive. Not only for migrations, but timely backups will also help you quickly return to a working state in case of unexpected errors.
How to use the plugin
To get started, just click on the Download All-in-One WP Migration button in the WordPress plugin menu to apply for free. The first thing you will see after applying the plugin is a very clear page with a large “Export to” button at the bottom of the plugin. In fact, just click on this button and continue. There are other options. However, with that plugin, you only have to click on export and continue. Most hosting providers have a migration tool that can simplify the migration process for you, you need to follow the steps outlined in the relevant hosting guides. This does not apply to this plugin!
You can find the plugin for free download in every WordPress administration in the category »Plugins« and »Plugin Installation« under the name »All-in-One WP Migration«.
